That is until, upon arrival back at camp, we discover that we’d been visited by the ranger. He left us a nice ticket for camping too close to the lake. Supposed to be 100’ away; we were only 80. Oh well.

The climb down was tedious, but as usual at this point a sense of accomplishment dominates.
