In the kitchen we decided to keep the old sink with its built-in metal cabinets underneath.
We did install new countertops, lighting, a dishwasher, and flooring, and resized both
the stove and the refrigerator cutouts for standard-sized appliances.
Finally, we stripped the wallpaper and gave it all a funky paint job.
